Angela Herren Rajagopalan, an associate professor of Art History at the UNC Charlotte, is the author of "Portraying the Aztec Past: Codices Boturini, Azcatitlan, and Aubin" (University of Texas Press, 2018). Her research focuses on 16th-century painted manuscripts from central Mexico and explores artistic practices in the century after the Spanish conquest.
Erika Denise Edwards, Ph.D. spent her formative years in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She and her twin sister, Lydia Edwards (Mass State Senator) were raised by her divorced mother, an Air Force veteran.
Greg Weeks is associate dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at UNC Charlotte. He is also a professor of Political Science. Weeks has published several books and dozens of articles on Latin American politics, U.S.-Latin American relations, and Latino immigration.
Jurgen Buchenau is professor of History at Latin American Studies. The author and editor of nine books and 35 articles and book chapters, he is the recipient of two major fellowships and co- principal investigator on four federal grants.
Roger F. Suclupe, MSW, LCSW, is a clinical assistant professor and MSW part-time program coordinator at UNC Charlotte’s School of Social Work. He earned his MSW from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and bachelor's degree in psychology from Appalachian State University.
