Phillip is chief content creator and administrator for Inside UNC Charlotte, the University’s daily online news hub for internal and external stakeholders. He works with communicators from academic and administrative units to inform the various University constituents of important news and event information. Additionally, he is associate editor of the UNC Charlotte magazine, for which he contributes as a feature writer.
A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Phillip completed a Master of Public Administration from UNC Wilmington. He joined UNC Charlotte in August 2007 from Georgia Southern University’s Office of University Communications. Previously, he was a member of the University Relations team at UNC Wilmington.
