Biography:
Janaki Gooty, Ph.D., is the MBA Program Director and an associate professor in the Department of Management in the Belk College of Business and the interdisciplinary Organizational Science Ph.D. program. Her research interests are in leader-follower relationships, emotions, well-being and multi-level issues. Her research has appeared in elite leadership and research methods outlets. She has served in several leadership roles for national industry organizations, including President of Southern Management Association, and Representative at Large for the Research Methods Division (RMD) of the Academy of Management.
